block the turn-over, tagli drastici (il 20%) al fondo ordinario degli Atenei ed un DdL in dirittura d’arrivo che modifica la governance delle università in senso antidemocratico, che alimenta il precariato futuro trasformando i ricercatori in figure precarie - a tempo determinato, che non da risposte sul precariato attuale, che rafforza i poteri dei docenti ordinari e dei rettori e che ignora la domanda di qualità dell’offerta didattica e di servizi per gli studenti.
Questa l’università del domani, quella che questo Governo ha immaginato per noi e che ora si accinge a costruire. Un’università con pochi ricercatori e pochi docenti, che costerà poco allo Stato ma tanto alle famiglie, che sbarrerà l’accesso a un numero sempre maggiore di studenti, distinguendoli per censo – in barba all’art. 3 della Costituzione della Repubblica Italiana “ Tutti i cittadini hanno pari dignità sociale e sono eguali davanti alla legge […] È compito della Repubblica rimuovere gli ostacoli di ordine economico e sociale, che, limitando di fatto la libertà e l'eguaglianza dei cittadini impediscono il pieno sviluppo della persona umana e l'effettiva partecipazione di tutti i lavoratori all'organizzazione politica, economica e sociale del Paese.” – ma che aprirà i consigli di amministrazione a fantomatici super-manager “esterni” perseverando in quel processo di inefficiente “aziendalizzazione” public service that has already caused so much damage.
And insecure? Will simply be wiped out, losing even the possibility of maintaining the existing, poor, working conditions. If, then, it has been approved an amendment by PDL under 35 that limits the access to future competition-term research, the design of a mass deportation of young researchers concluded.
They built a wall and closed every opening. For us there will be other opportunities, we will be "relocated" out of the university. A generation of young researchers, who helped with their commitment to working in Italian universities, will go up in smoke years of research and work. We are a generation
quick disposal.
We can not hesitate. Mobilize against this DDL, mobilize to defend the dignity of our knowledge workers, mobilize to get those opportunities so far refused. Mobilize for real reform of the university. We ask:
1) the withdrawal of the Bill of University Reform (formerly DDL 1905, known as "Reform Gelmini");
2) the preservation and revitalization of democracy in the governance of universities through the enlargement of balanced representation of all members of the faculty;
3) the definition of a unique role in university teaching for which various levels;
4) removal of the block of turn-over and a strict programming of the new recruitment which enhances the intellectual resources already available and ensuring real opportunities for access to permanent regulated researchers precarious;
5) the introduction of a single pre-contract role to ensure the rights, fair pay and better representation in government bodies, workers in precarious research;
6) the expansion of the national defense protection of the right to education to ensure equal opportunities for all students in all universities.
